SOME INFORMATION ABOUT ME
Mijn naam is Daniëlle Luksen en ik ben het gezicht achter V/LINE studio. Sinds ik klein ben, heb ik altijd huisdieren gehad. Katten, vissen, vogels, muizen, ratten, een hamster en zelfs wandelende takken. Mijn vader was altijd in de weer met zijn camera, waardoor ik veel mooie foto’s heb van onze katten: Tommie, Layla, Bibi, Stevie, Boefie en Donna.
Als klein kind was ik altijd al geïntrigeerd door zijn foto’s. Jaren later, na mijn studie Landscape Design, besloot ik daarom alsnog om deze passie voor fotografie te volgen. Ik startte een fotografiecursus en schreef me in bij de KvK. Ik begon als fotograaf voor honden voor baasjes die mooie foto’s van hun hond wilden. Toen ik veel vraag kreeg of ik workshops over hondenfotografie gaf, heb ik ook dat nog een tijd gedaan. Ik wist namelijk hoe waardevol foto’s van honden zijn en dat wilde ik voor anderen ook mogelijk maken.
Eind 2022 besloot ik de overstap te maken naar fotografie voor huisdiermerken en huisdierbedrijven, van B2C naar B2B dus. Hiermee kan ik namelijk nog meer bijdragen aan twee dingen die ik heel belangrijk vind: dierenwelzijn en duurzaamheid. Ik fotografeer nu dus voor merken en bedrijven die op wat voor manier dan ook bezig zijn met duurzaamheid en dierenwelzijn.
Ik duik graag in de manieren waarop fotografie kan bijdragen aan het verhaal van een huisdiermerk of bedrijf, hoe het aansluit bij de branding en hoe de producten het beste tot hun recht komen.
Misschien vraag je je nu af: wat betekent V/LINE? Nou, het is geen geheim dat ik gek ben op katten. Dus mijn bedrijfsnaam V/LINE is afgeleid van het Engelse woord voor katachtig: ‘feline‘! En ‘line’ verwijst ook naar ‘lijnen’: een compositieregel in fotografie.

DRAW UP A PLAN
What makes your brand or company unique? What story are you telling your customers? What is your mission? How do you plan to use the photos? This information will be reflected in the photos I create. So tell me more, tell me more! Based on all that info, we'll create a plan. No worries, a short but powerful plan.
locatie & modellen
Once we have a clear plan for the photo shoot, it’s time to choose a location and models that fit the photo shoot plan. Whether it’s a studio, a home, an outdoor location, or your own business – I’m happy to help with that. And of course, I’ll also assist in finding the right location and models!
DATE
Now it’s time to schedule a date for the photo shoot. Most times it’s possible to set a date on short notice if that’s what you want. I’ll make sure everything fits into the schedules of you, me, the location, the human and animal models, and everyone involved.
PHOTO SHOOT
Before the photo shoot, we’ll create a shot list so we don’t forget to shoot anything. Good preparation is half the job. On the day of the shoot, everyone will get ready, and then it’s showtime! The atmosphere will be as relaxed as a cat sneaking a nap in a basket of clean laundry. After all, no one wants stressed-out animals in the photos, right?
EDITING
After the photo shoot, I’ll select the best photos and send you this selection. You’ll choose which photos you want edited, and then I’ll get to work in Photoshop. This ensures the photos align with your brand’s or company's style. You’ll then receive the retouched photos digitally, ready-to-use.
DONE!
Once the photo shoot is completely wrapped up and you’ve received the photos, you can start using them. Whether it’s for social media, your website, or print materials, it’s time to make your brand shine like a cat lounging in the sun. That shoot was pretty fun, wasn’t it?! See you again next time?
